P. John Burden
P. John Burden is a talented Canadian artist of original acrylic and watercolour paintings, and artist’s
prints using traditional and modern methods.  He illustrates books written for all ages.  Books he has
illustrated include: Prince Edward Island - An Unauthorized History (out of print), Chasing a Dream
(2004), The Bonshaw Hills (1989), Spike Chiseltooth (1989), Home for Christmas (1989), Lena and the
Whale (1991, 2002).  In addition, he has illustrated for various issues of The Island Magazine.

His work may be seen at various galleries and shows across North America.  He lives in Hunter River,
Prince Edward Island.
