Judith McCann-Beranger, B.A., B.Ed., M.A., CCFE, has
been involved in working with and on behalf of families for
all of her adult life. She is an educator, counsellor, and
mediator who has been recognized for her work provincially
and nationally. Judy is the President of Family Mediation
Canada, and is Past President of Family Service Canada.
She is currently the Executive Director of the Alzheimer
Society of Prince Edward Island.
Judith's book A Caregiver's Guide for Alzheimer and
Related Diseases was published in 2004.
All the proceeds from this best seller book (over $100,000
to date) have been donated by Judith to the Alzheimer
Society of P.E.I.
Judith and her husband Greg live in Charlottetown.
His books include Nine Micmac Legends (1983).
