Kate Macdonald Butler
Kate Macdonald is a former home economist and food stylist with
a very special interest in Lucy Maud Montgomery's books - she
is Lucy Maud's granddaughter (daughter of Stuart Macdonald).

A graduate in Home Economy from Ryerson Polytechnical
Institute in Toronto, Kate was a food styling for advertisers and
for Canadian magazines.

Inspired by her grandmother's books, Kate combined her passion
for food with her grandmother's imagination to create The Anne
of Green Gables Cookbook.  First published in 1985, the cookbook
was reprinted in 1988, and again in 2003.
Kate works at the Anne of Green Gables Licensing Authority, Inc. and lives in Toronto.
