When an adventuresome cat named Brupp sets out from his peaceful
home on Prince Edward Island to see the world, he meets with
characters kind and nasty, funny and sad. Before he gets very far,
however, Brupp loses nearly all of his nine lives in narrow escapes from
death. And so he changes the cat law of nine to give himself more room
for adventure.
This is the third volume of a quartet of books about Brupp. In this
volume, Brupp meets Soo, a wise and gentle woods horse; Marie, a girl
who runs away from home; and other unforgettable characters.
