Suddenly, even the simplest expectations are thrown into doubt as the three struggle to survive, love, and find their way home in the face of obstacles they could never have imagined. |

| Though set in Nova Scotia, this historical novel tells the story of all Acadians who resided in the Maritime during the mid-1700s - including those on Prince Edward Island. These hard working people were rounded up by the British, "deported" and disbursed to various colonies far from their homes. |
