Deoradh
The Dewars: Storytellers and Relic Keepers.
A History of the Family Dewar
of Perthshire, Scotland and Prince Edward Island.
Katherine Elizabeth Dewar
This is the story of the family Dewar (Deoradh, Jore, Doire,
Deor) of Perthshire, Scotland and Prince Edward Island.  It is
considered a companion piece to Dr. George Dewar's book
The Brothers Dewar.

In order to chronicle the Dewars probable reasons for
leaving Scotland, the difficulties encountered in their new
land, and the mark they made on their communities, some
aspects of Scottish and Island history are addressed.

An updated genealogy of the Dewars and the almost five
hundred families they married into takes up over one-third of
the book.

There is a "whodunit" help-wanted section guaranteed to
challenge a genealogical sleuth.  You are invited to take up
the challenge.
