Prince Edward Island
Strays in the 1901 Census
Individuals Living on Prince Edward
Island in 1901 Who Were Born Elsewhere
This is a great finding aid to help locate those individuals
who resided on Prince Edward Island at the turn of the
century, but were not born here.  The list in this book is
taken from information obtained in the 1901 Canadian
Census.  The book contains a list of names and information
for over 6,700 individuals.  All portions of the 1901 Census
have survived, and there is therefore no section of the
Island excluded from this list.

Information included for each person consists of surname,
given name(s), age, place of birth and year of immigration
(when given), also the Lot number in Prince Edward Island
where they resided.  The place of birth is usually recorded
as a province (if in Canada), or (when outside of Canada), a
country.
