Prince Edward Island Public Archives and Records Office
Located in Charlottetown, the Public Archives and Records Office of Prince Edward
Island (PARO) acquires, preserves, and makes available for public research the
records of the provincial government and private-sector papers and records deemed
to be of lasting historical value. The Archives provides services to students,
historians, genealogists, government officials and interested members of the public.

Located on University Avenue, Charlottetown at the University of Prince Edward
Island, the Robertson Library houses a large variety of sources for use in historical
