| Francis W. P. Bolger was born at Stanley Bridge, Prince Edward Island, is a Professor of Canadian and Prince Edward Island history at the University of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown. He is author of Spirit of Place (1982, 1998), Memories of the Home Place (1984), The Years Before Anne (1974, 1991, 2005), Prince Edward Island and Confederation, 1863-1873 (1964), and editor of Canada's Smallest Province (1973, 1991), The History of Vernon River Parish, 1877-1977 (1977), and co-editor of My Dear Mr. M.: Letters to G.B. MacMillan from L. M. Montgomery (1980). |
