The Island Magazine
"Once upon a time, many years ago, a magazine was born.  It will be, said one of its founders, 'local' in focus and
'popular' in appeal.  And it was."
ggggggggggggg  - Edward MacDonald, The Island Magazine,  Number 50, 25th Anniversary Issue
Published twice a year since 1976, The
Island Magazine
explores the human and
natural heritage of the Province.    It
brings Prince Edward Island's past vividly
to life with a rich blend of careful
scholarship, lively writing, and evocative
illustration.

Inside
The Island Magazine, there's
something about nearly every aspect of
our heritage.  And it's fascinating stuff.
Each article is lavishly illustrated with
photographs, drawings, maps, and original
artwork.  The emphasis is on readability,
but style is never put before substance.
Proceeds benefit the Prince Edward Island
Museum and Heritage Foundation.
